It is with deep sadness that Penrith Town Council learnt of the death of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh.
The Late Duke has been steadfast in his duty and loyalty to this nation, the Commonwealth and HM The Queen and, as we reflect on our Nation’s loss we remember a life well-lived and give thanks for the commitment and dedication of His late Royal Highness.
We offer our deepest condolences to HM The Queen and to all members of the Royal Family
You can leave a message of sympathy in an online Condolence Book Buckingham Palace has requested no floral tributes due to the current situation but suggest that donations can be made to the National Emergencies Trust who raise and distribute money and support victims at a time of domestic disaster or one of the patronages of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh which can be found on the Royal Family Website
