UK Youth Parliament

The UK Youth Parliament (UKYP) provides opportunities for 11-18 year olds to use their elected voice to bring about social change through meaningful representation and campaigning

Besides Gabriel, who (as mentioned above) is supporting Penrith Town Council in setting up a Youth Advisory Panel, Reece  Hamilton, aged 16 from The Lakes School in Windermere, was elected to the UK Youth Parliament to represent  Barrow and S. Lakes, while Elspeth Aston, aged 17, from Cockermouth School  was elected to represent Carlisle & Eden.
